Airturb has developed its own inverter. This inverter converts both the wind from the Airturb and the solar panels at the bottom of the base into energy that is indirectly fed to the grid via a built-in battery. The battery is present to store the generated energy at minimum wind speeds and as buffer ballast at high speeds.

Due to this optimal combination of its own Airturb Model One Boost with its own base, called the Airturb Base V1, and an in-house developed and produced inverter, the Power V1, Airturb is able to generate green energy locally and safely return it to the net without a major impact on humans, animals and the environment.

As mentioned, the Airturb Base is equipped with 4 small 30 watt solar panels. In this way, every m2 is optimally used to generate green energy.
